Pack the Back Pack

We've kicked off the 7th annual Pack the Backpack challenge! We challenge a business to fill a backpack and then they challenge another creating a chain of generosity. All filled packs will be donated to Albany County School District classrooms to help students and teachers who need supplies.

In addition, we accept individual donations to fill even more backpacks. Drop off school and classroom supplies at 365 N. Third St. by Monday, August 19 and we'll handle purchasing and filling the backpacks. Special requests include crayons, pencils, erasers, folders, colored pencils, dry-erase markers, tissues, hand sanitizer, and Clorox wipes. Any other helpful and fun items for students and teachers are also greatly appreciated. Every contribution makes a difference!

So far in 2024, businesses that have completed the challenge include Hammontree Real Estate, Mortgage Source, Wyoming Real Estate Group, Palatium Hair Studio, First American Title, and Flying S Title.  Follow the journey on Social Media using  #PacktheBackPack to see where the challenge heads next!
